The Fat Boy is a powerful igniter designed for use in applications of mid "J" and up - and we do mean UP!   It's a stand-alone igniter which is frequently used un-augmented in "K", "L" and "M" class motors.  No additional pyrogen needed.   The Fat Boy must have 12 volts to ignite.  The pyrogen is 1 inch long by 15/64 inch (.234) OD with 36-inch leads.  It burns very hot at 1,600 degrees F, creating generous smoke and sparks as it burns from top to bottom like a sparkler.  It is moisture and shock resistant, reliable, and durable.  The sky's the limit for this baby!  It will definitely get your project off the ground!  They will reliably ignite sugar motors, composites, black powder or anything that will burn.  Fat Boy igniters are most commonly used with club type 12 volt Launch Controls.  Usually three can be clustered at once, ground test to be sure your launch control is up to the task.
